The devil is in the detail

Perhaps the silk chiffon has a faint metallic gold topstitch that adds movement and gloss to the dress.  The handpainted silk textile of another turns a dress into a work of art the closer you get.  The intricacy of a raffia hand crochet clearly appears at a distance and up close.

Style transcends fashion

Written by ogo on . Posted in Ogo Vintage Blog

You know it when you see it… inimitable style, that elusive quality that circumvents definition.  Style defies age and fashion trends.  Audrey Hepburn had it, muse to the great Givenchy. Iris Apfel’s unique style is celebrated and emulated, as she inspires young and old well into her 90s.   Style is the magical spark that draws you to a certain look or color or fabric or shape or embellishment or simply a certain something that you know you have just found it.

OgoVintage is a destination for all women of style, spanning eras, seasons, and the cyclical nature of trends.  Visit OgoVintage to let your personal sense of style run free.
